Molly Martin, RN
Director of Nursing-Lynchburg
Molly Martin, RN, serves as Director of Nursing at Mainspring Recovery in Lynchburg, Virginia. Molly brings over 6 years of experience in nursing leadership, substance abuse treatment, and trauma-informed care to Mainspring Recovery. She leads with the values of trust, accountability, and treating everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve.
With a background in case management and geriatric nursing, Molly understands the importance of assessments, reporting, and evidence-based treatment practices to contribute to best outcomes. She has worked in multiple recovery settings such as detox facilities, inpatient psychiatric units, and as a nurse at Mainspring prior to taking this role. These diverse experiences have given her a deep understanding of the necessary requirements needed to build the foundation for long-term recovery.
At Mainspring Recovery, Molly provides nursing leadership and operational oversight to the nursing department at both the residential and outpatient level in Lynchburg. She is committed to creating and maintaining a cohesive team that works together to support clients throughout their recovery journey. Through open communication, collaboration, and a person-centered approach, Molly works to ensure every client feels seen, heard, and valued — and that Mainspring’s mission of restoring hope, strengthening lives, and supporting meaningful, sustainable recovery is reflected in every aspect of nursing care.
Molly’s leadership style is inspired by Dr. Patricia Benner, a renowned nursing educator who said, “Leadership in nursing is not about being the loudest voice in the room — it’s about being the calm that steadies the room when everything feels uncertain.” Guided by this belief, Molly is committed to making Mainspring an environment where clients can begin to heal and go on to live meaningful, fulfilled lives.
