Laurie Hood, LPN, serves as Residential Aide Director at Mainspring Recovery in Lynchburg, Virginia. With over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations across a wide range of care settings, Laurie brings a wealth of knowledge and a steadfast commitment to compassionate, client-centered care. With a background spanning mental health, detox, substance abuse, case management, and community health, Laurie brings a broad and well-rounded expertise to her role. Her experience includes serving as a Director of Nursing in assisted living and dementia care settings, as well as supervisory leadership in the geriatric field. These experiences have shaped her holistic approach to care — one that prioritizes safety, dignity, and individualized support across every stage of the recovery journey.
At Mainspring Recovery, Laurie oversees the overall operations of the residential treatment program, working to promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for every client served.
