Clinical Manager- Lynchburg 

Jacob Seay, MS, NCC, Resident in Counseling, serves as Clinical Manager at Mainspring Recovery in Lynchburg. With several years of experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment, along with extensive leadership experience through military service, Jacob is dedicated to fostering clinical excellence and supporting recovery through compassionate, evidence-based care. His leadership is driven by a commitment to accountability, professional development, and the belief that lasting recovery is possible when treatment is delivered through a consistent, person-centered approach.

With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Jacob combines clinical expertise with a diverse background in residential substance use treatment, mental health services, case management, and crisis intervention. He is a National Certified Counselor and a Resident in Counseling in Virginia. In addition, his ongoing service as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve has strengthened his skills in leadership, team development, strategic planning, and operational excellence, all of which inform his approach to clinical management.

His responsibilities include program development, regulatory compliance, documentation oversight, and staff mentorship. Through collaborative leadership and a focus on continuous improvement, Jacob helps advance Mainspring Recovery’s mission to deliver the highest quality client care to the communities it serves and uphold the belief that everyone can recover through a consistent person-centered approach to treatment.
