Amit Kuckreja, MBA, serves as Vice President of Admissions & Utilization Review at Mainspring Recovery. With more than 12 years of experience in the substance use disorder treatment field, he brings extensive expertise in admissions operations, utilization review, payer relations, and healthcare systems management. Amit is committed to improving access to care through operational excellence, strategic innovation, and a client-centered approach that prioritizes timely treatment and positive outcomes.
With a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Marketing from Penn State University, Amit specializes in admissions strategy, utilization review, compliance, data analytics, and process improvement. His professional experience includes progressive leadership roles within one of Ohio’s largest residential substance use disorder treatment organizations, where he developed a strong foundation in healthcare operations and reimbursement systems. His approach is rooted in the belief that efficient, well-designed systems are essential to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
At Mainspring Recovery, Amit leads admissions operations and provides oversight of utilization review processes across all facilities. He is responsible for strengthening admissions infrastructure, optimizing workflows, supporting authorization and reimbursement strategies, and ensuring documentation and compliance standards are maintained. Through data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement, he helps remove barriers to treatment and supports Mainspring’s mission of providing exceptional, person-centered recovery services.
