Partial Hospitalization Program In Virginia

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a type of outpatient treatment program that provides treatment to people struggling with addiction. A person entering a PHP requires a higher level of care than an outpatient program provides. People in a PHP receive comprehensive treatment services.

A PHP offers outpatient addiction treatment services such as drug counseling, individual and group therapy.

At our center, people attend the program 4 to 5 days a week for 5 hours each day, while still residing at home.

Individuals entering a partial hospitalization program may be using it as a “step-down” service after receiving treatment in an inpatient program.
